Steamed fish with garlic and asparagus


  • Two fillets of fresh fish (your choice)
  • 8-10 asparagus stalks
  • Two slices of lemon
  • Two tablespoons of butter
  • Two cloves of garlic
  • A handful of fresh dill
  • Salt and pepper


  1. This is a truly simple - and yet very tasty way of creating a whole meal with minimum fuss.

    Simply place your two fillets of fish (your choice) in the Si-bag Meal-Maker. Add the asparagus and the lemon.

    Mash together the garlic, butter and a sprinkling of dill, and place it in the bag along with the rest of the ingredients.

    Add salt and pepper to season as required. 

    Based on a 900w microwave, cook for three minutes to four, increase the time slightly if your microwave is a lower wattage. If using a conventional oven, cook at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.

    This recipe works equally well with most white fish.
