Steamed fish with a soy sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 piece of salmon
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • 2 mushrooms (sliced)
  • Carrots (sliced thinly)
  • Soy sauce (one teaspoon)
  • A small amount of ginger (thinly sliced)

Directions

  1. An easy and tasty way to introduce your child to fish - or a tasty recipe in its own right for an adult, just adjust the portion sizes or amount of ginger and soy sauce according to who you're cooking for. It works equally well with other types of fish.

    Place the fish in the Baby & Toddler Meal-Pouch or the Si-bag Meal-Maker along with the chopped tomatoes and vegetables.

    Drizzle with the soya sauce and using the fold-over flap seal the bag.

    Based on a 900w microwave, cook for two to three minutes, increase the time slightly if your microwave is a lower wattage. If using a conventional oven, cook at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

    Be aware of hot contents, especially if serving to a child.
