Apple, pear & berry compote
- Serves: 2
- Complexity: very easy
- 1 apple
- 1 pear
- Handful of blueberries, blackberries or both
- Couple of drops of vanilla extract
- A pinch of cinammon
Cut apple and pear into wedges, put in bag.
Add the berries.
Seal the bag and microwave for 2-3 minutes, depending on preferred texture.
Remove then open bag. Add some vanilla and the cinammon then puree.
This recipe was sent in by Sharon Woodward, who says it is "Fantastic served with yoghurt, rice pudding, porridge (as per photo attached) or even mixed in to savoury dishes such as lamb stew to give a fruity kick. Lovely for kids and grown ups too!"
